As part of our Summer of Food and Fun programme, we’ve teamed up with The Mayors Fund for London and The Let’s Cook Project to bring you a series of fun and simple recipes to try at home with all the family. The Let’s Cook Project is a social enterprise on a mission to give the nation the skills, knowledge and confidence to cook from scratch. A huge thank you also to our friends at Caravan Restaurants for letting us use their fabulous kitchen space.

They are offering an exciting and extended programme of holiday food and activity this summer for children and young people (aged 4-19 years), and their families and/or carers.

You will be able to access a regular source of free nutritious meals over the summer, whether at a local club or at home, and join an array of fun and engaging community activities including sports, theatre, arts and crafts and cooking.

In the event of continued lockdown, young people will still be able to access activities remotely, including food and nutrition education, arts and crafts, literacy support, and a wide range of physical activities.

GETTING INVOLVED IS EASY:

  1. REGISTER YOUR DETAILS BELOW FOR FURTHER PROGRAMME INFORMATION
  2. DOWNLOAD THE BROCHURE & FIND HUBS NEAR YOU

The dual-borough programme will be delivered by their network of local community organisations (‘hubs’), including schools, adventure playgrounds and youth clubs, that would usually offer free meals and activities during school holidays through our Kitchen Social project.

All the venues taking part in the programme are safe, hygienic and compliant with the latest government advice on Covid-19.
